Tax & Discount Handling

Tax Calculation

The engine reads each order's tax mode from the e-commerce platform and maps it to Wafeq's revenue and tax accounts. Both modes are fully supported, with tax amounts calculated per line item and forwarded to Wafeq for a compliant, audit-ready invoice.

Discount Handling

Order-level and line-item discounts from the e-commerce platform are preserved and applied with precision in the corresponding Wafeq invoice. Both percentage-based and fixed-amount discounts are supported, ensuring the final invoice total always reflects exactly what the customer paid on the storefront — with no manual reconciliation required.
